AMES, Iowa - Seniors Andretti Bain and Shaun Smith continue their successes on the track as both remain in the top three nationally and both automatically qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships in their respective races.

Senior Andretti Bain ran a career-best in the 400-meter dash, winning the event in a time of 46.13, which breaks the ORU school record set by Bain at this same meet last season. The Nassau, Bahamas native automatically qualifies for the NCAA Indoor Championship with his time and keeps his No. 1 ranking in the nation. On the women's side, freshman Whitney Mills placed eighth in her first 400m dash of the season, running 55.19.
